We’re delighted to be able to offer you the opportunity to have photographs taken underwater - a different element to our service!
Watching your child learn to swim is a magical experience – the smiles, the splashes, the bubbles, the huge sense of pride when they perfect a new skill… We love it! That’s why we have partnered with Underwater Art to deliver a professional photography service to help you capture all the wonderful memories of your child in the water.
During our underwater photoshoots, we capture professional images of babies, toddlers, and young children above and under the water. Using the latest photographic equipment, we capture between four and six images per second during each submersion. These photographs are then professionally edited, before being uploaded to a secure, password-protected gallery for you to view, order, and print. Encapsulating all the fun and enjoyment that you expect from a Nemo Swimming lesson, the Underwater Art team captures stunning photographs that can be cherished for many years to come.

What to expect at a Nemo Swimming underwater photography session
Our underwater photoshoots are designed to be as relaxed and enjoyable as possible. During the photoshoot, children will be submerged in the water. While many children enjoy being underwater, others may become distressed during the photoshoot, and this can occur for many reasons. An experienced member of the Nemo Swimming team will always be on hand to help ensure that any distress is dealt with appropriately, though we do recommend that underwater photoshoots are only booked for children who are usually comfortable being underwater. Your Nemo Swimming instructor will be able to advice whether your child is suitable to attend. Alternatively, you can contact the Nemo Swimming support team on 0191 281 7678, or at [email protected].
There will be a maximum of five children in each session, and these children will be photographed – above the under the water – in rotation, allowing a rest between ‘dips’. All children must be accompanied by an adult in the pool. If you wish to have two adults in the pool, this is also fine, and provides a great opportunity to get some underwater family photographs.
