Next up in our “My Nemo Swimming Journey” series, we catch up with Kaia who – along with her partner – has been bringing baby boy Rudy to Nemo Swimming classes since he was just 4 weeks old.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Kaia: He was just four weeks old<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Kaia: 6 months<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Kaia: Rudy had a couple of medical issues when he was born and needed surgery at 10 weeks old. Bringing him swimming during that time was such a happy distraction from all the hospital appointments. It also helped me – both physically and mentally – post c-section. Getting back into the water made me feel like “me” again, though the pool at PaddlePod is definitely much warmer than the North Sea which I’d been used to!<\/p>\n\n\n
