My Nemo Swimming Journey: George & Amy
George, George, George… where do we start! This little Nemo is an absolute superstar and has been coming to Nemo Swimming classes since he was just 12 weeks old. He’s 3 years old now and never fails to make us smile in his lessons.
Here’s what his grown-up, Amy, had to say about George’s Nemo Swimming Journey so far…
How old was George when you first brought him swimming?
Amy: He was just three months old
And how old is he now?
Amy: 3 years old
What benefits have you seen as a result of bringing George to Nemo Swimming classes?
Amy: He’s confident in the water, and also independent. The Nemo Pre-school classes have also helped to improve his listening skills – always a bonus! Most of all, it’s just been incredibly fun… for us both!
What does George love most about his Nemo Swimming classes?
Amy: Showing off his tiger arms and his bubbles!
What would you say to other parents thinking of signing their baby, toddler or pre-school child up to Nemo Swimming classes?
Amy: Do it! It was my favourite time of the week getting into the pool with George – we had so much fun and it was great one-on-one time for us both. I’m so proud to see him in the pool on his own now, and the confidence he has getting into the water is just incredible.
Is there anything else you’d like to share?
Amy: Babies and toddlers learn so quickly, and the confidence they gain in the water early on is so reassuring and rewarding.
